Market Snapshot#
Monday’s public gold trade on the @GTMO channel was a single buy that took more than four hours to play out. At 16:01 Vietnam time Mo posted the buy plan: a 4018.4–4014 zone, a 4010 stop and targets at 4020, 4022, 4024, 4026 and 4028, plus an open target. He reported TP1 at 16:41. Then the trade needed almost three more hours: through the late afternoon gold slid back into and below the zone, while Mo kept the trade open and moved the stop on the remaining entries to 4008. At 19:28 he told members to take half profits and set breakeven, and at 19:29 he posted “SET BREAKEVENNNN NOW 4022 HITT”, followed by “BOOOOOOMMM” at 19:33. The 22:04 recap reported TP1, TP2 and TP3, and its history excerpt shows buys closed at 4020, 4022 and 4024. TP4 and TP5 were not reported, and the last entries closed at breakeven.

The figures come from OANDA’s completed daily bar for Monday on TradingView / OANDA. That bar follows OANDA’s trading session, not the Vietnam calendar day, and it is not an official gold fix. That bar finished hours after Mo’s trade had ended, at $4,017.19, back inside his 4018.4–4014 buy zone.
Why The Tone Changed So Fast#
The afternoon began with energy. At 15:07 Mo wrote “Gold flyyyyin”, at 15:30 he called a ready check, and at 16:00 he sent the alert with the reminder that it was no financial advice. The full plan followed a minute later. By 16:04 price was floating at about 4016.3, inside the zone, and Mo told members to use proper risk management within it. At 16:05 he noted that he had corrected a typo in the stop; the posted plan shows a 4010 stop. At 16:20 price reached the bottom of the zone and he placed his last entries, and at 16:25 he wrote that the full zone was filled and predicted “a jackpot trade”.
The first change of tone was quick. At 16:30 Mo posted “Turning blueee!!”, meaning the positions had moved into profit. At 16:36 he told members to set TP1 at 4020 on some of their first or worst-priced entries, and at 16:41 he reported “TakeProfit 1 checkk!!!”. A minute later he asked members to do the same with TP2.
The second change was slower and harder. Gold did not continue straight up. At 17:10 Mo posted “We back!!” after a dip, and at 17:39 he wrote that because he had closed some entries at TP1 he was “on lower risk now”, then set the stop for the rest at 4008. At 17:54 he reported that the bottom entries were turning blue again, at 18:08 he wrote “Gold is testing us today”, and at 18:33 he pointed out that the 30-minute chart had printed two wicks down. At 18:46 he posted “I see blues again”, and at 18:52 he told members to wait and see whether this was a breakout or another failure.
The breakout came at 19:28. Mo posted “TAKE HALF PROFITS NOW AND SET BREAKEVEN EVERYONEEEEE”, and a minute later “SET BREAKEVENNNN NOW 4022 HITT”. “BOOOOOOMMM” followed at 19:33. The breakout also settled a playful promise. At 18:56 a member wrote that if the trade reached TP3 they wanted Mo to jump in the pool, and at 19:26 Mo answered “I'LL STRAIGHT JUMP IN THE POOL.” At 19:39 he posted a video captioned “I KEEP MY WORD!”, and his 20:06 update began “I went to take a shower after jumpin in the pool”. At 19:45 he asked members, “Did I promise you too much today with this trade?”, and at 20:06 he reported that his remaining entries had been closed at breakeven. Mo’s updates describe the price action in his own words. They do not cite a news event, and this recap does not add one.
Technical Outlook#
The day’s only public plan was the 16:01 buy:
- Zone: 4018.4–4014
- Stop: 4010, later moved to 4008 on the remaining entries
- Targets: 4020, 4022, 4024, 4026, 4028, then an open target
The first target was only 1.6 dollars above the top of the zone and 6 dollars above its bottom. That helps explain why TP1 came within 40 minutes. The harder part was the hold that followed. Mo’s own charts show more than a touch of the zone: the 30-minute chart he posted at 18:46 and the 5-minute chart at 19:29 show gold dipping below the 4014 bottom of the zone to around 4010.5 on his platform, about half a dollar above the original 4010 stop (levels read from the screenshots). That is where the stop decision mattered. Moving the stop from 4010 to 4008 gave the remaining entries more room, while closing part of the position at TP1 reduced the total exposure. Mo described the combined effect as lower risk. It also meant that a deeper drop would have cost more on each remaining entry.
On the completed daily bar, gold traded between $3,978.18 and $4,030.07 and closed at $4,017.19, up $21.38 from the previous bar’s close. The daily high of $4,030.07 sits above TP4 and TP5, but a daily bar does not show when that high printed, so it cannot show whether those targets traded during Mo’s trade. This recap follows Mo’s posts, which reported TP1–TP3 only. As historical reference points from Monday, the 4014–4018 buy zone, the $4,030.07 high and the $3,978.18 low are the levels worth noting. They are not current recommendations, and a new session needs its own plan. For the week’s broader scenarios, see the weekly gold forecast for October 26–30.
Trading Signals#

One public buy, managed through a long test#
Monday had one fully specified public setup. The “Gold buy now” line at 16:01 is the alert for the plan that follows it, not an extra trade. All times are Vietnam time, UTC+7, on October 26.

| 16:01 | Buy plan: 4018.4–4014, stop 4010 | Setup |

The selected screenshots in this section follow the same order: the positions turning blue, the chart at TP1, the recovery after the dip, the return to profit, the 4022 update and the closed-trade history from the recap.
Signal Performance Breakdown#

The public buy: Mo reported the full 4018.4–4014 zone filled by 16:25. The positions screenshot he shared with “Turning blueee!!” shows the lowest buys, opened around 4014, and a floating total of +3,967.50 USD for the open positions. TP1 at 4020 was reported at 16:41. After that, the trade needed almost three more hours, much of it spent in and below the zone, before the 19:28–19:33 push, when Mo instructed half profits and breakeven at 4022 and posted “BOOOOOOMMM”. His 22:04 recap reads:
- TP1 ✅ ~60+ pips
- TP2 ✅✅ ~84+ pips
- TP3 ✅✅✅ ~110+ pips
The history excerpt posted with that recap shows six closed buys: two at 4020, two at 4022 and two at 4024, each in profit. TP4 at 4026 and TP5 at 4028 were not reported, and the remaining entries closed at breakeven, as Mo posted at 20:06. The day ended with TP1–TP3 reported on a single buy and no losing exit reported. The pip figures are Mo’s own rounded count. The six closes in the excerpt, from entries near 4014.4–4014.7, work out to roughly 53, 76 and 96 pips per position, so read his figures as his summary rather than a per-position measurement. The screenshots come from his account and show reported trades, not an audited result for the day.
What members shared publicly#
Between 16:25 and 20:25, members posted 44 messages in the public channel, 20 of them with screenshots. The first wave came right after TP1:
- Daniel Agyemang: “Doing great Mo. You’re an amazing person and we appreciate what you’re doing for the community.”
- Imzino called it a sniper trade and praised the analysis.
At 17:15 one member, Goldtrader, posted a history of buys closed around 4021 with the words “Thousands and im out”. Another member asked at 17:16 what to do with open positions, and Mo answered: enjoy the profits, or close them if you are happy. During the long test, V0ldy wrote “I have complete faith in our setup”, and at 19:48 M G reported “Made $200 so far, still in.”
After Mo’s 20:06 breakeven exit, results came in quickly between 20:16 and 20:25:
- Nik Zupancic: “7,84% profit today with proper risk… finally!”
- Patrick: “Today 200€ thank you MO.”
- Heeve Mezori: “I made 254 euro’s.”
- Magdalena: “I have closed all positions… +57€.”
Not every result was large. One member’s history shows mostly small buys with a few small losses and a total of 14.73. Each person’s outcome depended on their own entries, size and exits, and members’ figures are personal reports, not verified returns. The galleries show 12 selected screenshots, six from Mo and six from members, not every image shared.
For another day when a buy reached three targets before a protected exit, compare the October 16 gold report. For a sell that reported three of four targets and then closed at entry, see the October 22 gold report.
Execution Lessons#
Bank something early when the first target is close. TP1 sat just above the zone, and Mo told members to set it on their first or worst-priced entries. When gold slid back below the zone later in the afternoon, those closed entries were already banked.
Know which way your stop is moving. After the TP1 closes, Mo moved the stop on the remaining entries from 4010 to 4008. That gave the trade more room during the test, and he described the overall position as lower risk because part of it was closed. If you keep every entry open, the same move adds risk instead of reducing it.
A long hold needs stops in place before you look away. After TP1 Mo told members to stay off their trading platforms until he updated them, and during the test he asked everyone to close their eyes for 30 seconds. That only works if every stop is already set; if it is not, watching the position is part of risk control. The decisions that mattered were the written ones: TP1 on the worst entries, the stop at 4008, then half profits and breakeven at 4022.
Count the targets that actually closed. The recap reports TP1, TP2 and TP3. TP4 and TP5 were not reported, and the last entries closed at entry.
What The Day Means Going Forward#
Monday showed a different side of the public record. The first target came fast, but most of the trade was patience: an entry zone tested for hours, a stop decision explained in public, and a breakout handled with half profits and breakeven instead of hoping for every target. Readers could follow each management step as it was posted, including the moments when the trade looked shaky.
Before the next session, decide how many entries you will close at the first target, where your stop will sit if price returns to your zone, and what you will do if the trade needs hours instead of minutes. Then follow how the next public setup is explained and managed on @GTMO, rather than reusing Monday’s levels. You can also read the previous session in the October 23 gold report, or the full week in the weekly gold trading summary for October 19–23.
FAQ#
Where did gold close on October 26, 2026?#
OANDA’s XAUUSD daily bar for Monday, October 26 closed at $4,017.19 per troy ounce, up $21.38 (0.54%) from the previous bar’s close, with a high of $4,030.07 and a low of $3,978.18. It was read on TradingView at 09:05 Vietnam time on October 27, after the bar had finished. This is OANDA’s session bar, not an official gold fix or a Vietnam calendar-day close.
What did the October 26 public signal look like?#
A buy at 4018.4–4014 with a 4010 stop and targets at 4020, 4022, 4024, 4026 and 4028, plus an open target. Mo posted it at 16:01 Vietnam time and later moved the stop on the remaining entries to 4008.
Did the buy hit every target?#
No. Mo’s 22:04 recap reported TP1, TP2 and TP3, about 60+, 84+ and 110+ pips by his count. TP4 and TP5 were not reported, and the remaining entries closed at breakeven.
Why did the trade take so long?#
TP1 was reported 40 minutes after the plan. Through the late afternoon gold slid back into and below the buy zone, and the move to 4022 only came at 19:29, almost three hours after TP1. Mo kept the remaining entries open with a 4008 stop through that period.
