Market Snapshot#
Friday’s public gold sell on @GTMO moved into profit, returned to its entry zone, and later brought two TP1 reports before Mo called for stops to move to entry. At 16:57 Vietnam time Mo posted the sell plan with a 4022.9–4027 zone, a 4031 stop and five numbered targets. At 17:10 price was back at the entries; at 17:17 Mo told traders to use proper risk management inside the zone. At 17:23 he reported TP1 with a history screenshot of three sells closed at 4021.00, and said he was still holding for a bigger drop. At 17:53 he posted “TP1 check” a second time, followed by “SET BREAKEVEN !!!!” and “BREAKEVEN ZERO RISK!!”, moving stops to entry. No later target or final close was posted publicly.
Earlier in the afternoon, reposts from Mo’s members’ channel showed a first sell reaching TP1, profits taken with breakeven set, and all entries closed by 15:51. To follow the next public update or ask about free signal access, message @GTMOBest. This recap looks back at Friday’s published decisions; it is not a new instruction to trade.

Why The Tone Changed So Fast#
The day started with a ready check. Mo wrote that he had arrived in the office at 14:21 Vietnam time, and at 14:48 he asked readers to message “READY” at @GTMOBest. The first trade of the afternoon went to his members’ channel, and its updates were reposted to @GTMO: “TP1 here we goooo” at 15:41, a call to take some profits and set breakeven at 15:46, and “All entries closed already” at 15:51.
At 16:20 Mo asked whether the next signal should be shared in the public channel too, and challenged readers to message him “GOOO”. At 16:34 he confirmed: the next trade would go to the public channel and the members’ channel together. The alert came at 16:56, with the reminder that it was not financial advice, and the full sell plan followed at 16:57.
The tone then changed twice. First came patience: at 17:10 Mo wrote that the trade was “still active, right now at our entries,” and at 17:17 added, “Use proper risk management inside the zone.” At 17:23 he reported TP1 but kept holding. The second change came at 17:41, when he called the move “half way to our predicted price” and told traders to be ready at TP1 at 4021 to take some profits and turn the trade into zero risk. Twelve minutes later he did exactly that, and at 17:57 he added: “I dont care if it hits breakeven. So you shouldn’t as well!” The updates describe the price action in Mo’s words. They do not cite a news event, and this recap does not add one.
Technical Outlook#
The only fully specified public plan of the day was the 16:57 sell:
- Zone: 4022.9–4027
- Stop: 4031
- Targets: 4021, 4019, 4017, 4015, 4013, then an open target
The stop sat 4 dollars above the top of the zone, and TP1 was 1.9 dollars below its bottom, with each later target 2 dollars lower. With targets that close together, a pullback to the entries can erase an early profit within minutes. The 17:10 update describes exactly that: price was back at the entries, and Mo addressed traders who had “already taken profits”. Mo’s chart note at 17:29 described a rising wedge and said price would have to come lower to find support before any move up. That was his plan for the trade, not a confirmed market outcome.
These are historical plan levels from the public signal, not market quotes and not current recommendations. The 21:01 reading of $4,020.175 put gold just below the 4022.9–4027 zone and between the first two targets. As historical reference points, the 4022.9–4027 zone where the sell was opened and the 4021 TP1 level are the two levels worth noting from the day. For a new session, build a fresh plan rather than treating Friday’s zone as live resistance. For the week’s broader scenarios, see the weekly gold forecast for October 19–23.
Trading Signals#

One public sell, managed through a retest#
Friday had one fully specified public setup. The “Gold sell now” line at 16:56 is the alert for the plan that follows it, not an extra trade. All times are Vietnam time, UTC+7, on October 23.
| Time | Public update | What it shows |
|---|---|---|
| 15:41–15:51 | “TP1 here we goooo”, profits and breakeven, “All entries closed already”, reposted | Members’ channel sell closed |
| 16:34 | Next trade in the public and members’ channels together | Public signal announced |
| 16:57 | Sell plan: 4022.9–4027, stop 4031 | Setup |
| 17:01 | “Lets get the bluessssss” | Positions in profit |
| 17:10 | “Trade still active, right now at our entries.” | Price back at entries |
| 17:17 | “Use proper risk management inside the zone” | Risk reminder |
| 17:23 | “We‘ve hit TP1 already but I‘m still holding” | TP1 closes at 4021.00 shown |
| 17:24–17:39 | “We back in blues”, “Just wait”, “WE ARE ALL IN BLUES” | Remaining positions in profit |
| 17:41 | “Be ready at TP1 at 4021 to take some profits” | Zero-risk plan announced |
| 17:53 | “TP1 check”, then “SET BREAKEVEN !!!!” | TP1 again; stop to entry |
| 17:56 | “BREAKEVEN ZERO RISK!!” | Last trade-management update |
The selected screenshots below follow the same order: the members’ channel sell’s closed history, the public sell’s TP1 closes, then its positions before and after the breakeven call.
Signal Performance Breakdown#

The members’ channel sell: Its reposted updates reported TP1 at 15:41 and all entries closed by 15:51. The history screenshot posted with that last update shows two sells closed at 4013.00 for +560.05 and +603.75 USD, many smaller closes near entry, one close at −36.80 USD, and a day profit line of 6,887.35 USD. Its exact plan was not published on @GTMO.
The public sell: Mo reported TP1 at 17:23. The screenshot with that update shows three 1.15-lot sells, opened between 4022.78 and 4023.72, closed at 4021.00 for +204.70, +311.65 and +312.80 USD. His other positions stayed open. At 17:39, with “WE ARE ALL IN BLUES”, the positions screenshot showed sells opened around 4024.5–4024.9 and a floating total of +11,084.85 USD. After “TP1 check” and “SET BREAKEVEN !!!!” at 17:53, the positions screenshot showed +7,085.15 USD floating with gold at 4020.98.
The day ended with one members’ channel sell closed after TP1, and one public sell that reached TP1 twice before stops were moved to entry. No TP2 or later target, and no final close, was posted publicly after 17:56, so the rest of the public trade is unresolved in the record. The screenshots come from Mo’s own account; they show reported trades and floating totals, not an audited result for the day.
What members shared publicly#
The public channel had 20 member messages on Friday, almost all of them screenshots. When Mo asked at 17:24 who was in the trade with him, nine members posted their positions within about three minutes. When he asked for “blue” screenshots at 17:39, nine more followed within about a minute. Most were positions screenshots showing small gold sells; the others were charts or account summaries.
At 17:45 a member named CM posted a history screen showing a profit of 99.00 and wrote: “Today I made my biggest profit!! 🙏 Thank you so much!” Mo replied: “Well done to CM, if your happy and you went out, I’m also happy for you!!”
Each person’s result depended on their own entries, size and exits, and members’ figures are personal reports, not verified returns. A floating profit can still change before a position is closed. The galleries show 7 selected screenshots from the day’s posts, not every image shared.
For another day when the stop moved to entry after early targets, compare the October 12 gold report, or see Thursday’s public sell in the October 22 gold report.
Execution Lessons#
An early profit can come back. Mo’s 17:10 update put price back at the entries, with a nod to traders who had “already taken profits”, and his 17:23 history shows TP1 closes at 4021.00. Mo’s answer was to stay inside his plan and remind traders to manage risk inside the zone, not to add size or chase.
Decide your zero-risk point in advance. At 17:41 Mo named the level, TP1 at 4021, and what he would do there: take some profits and move the stop to entry. At 17:53 he did it. An entry-price stop limits a reversal’s damage; execution costs and slippage can still affect the result.
Accept the breakeven outcome before it happens. “I dont care if it hits breakeven. So you shouldn’t as well!” A trade stopped at entry after banked partial profits is a managed result, not a failure.
A first target is not the whole trade. The record shows TP1 twice and stops at entry. It does not show TP2 or a final close, so do not assume the remaining positions reached the later targets.
What The Day Means Going Forward#
Friday’s public sell returned to its entries at 17:10, brought TP1 reports at 17:23 and 17:53, and ended its public management updates with a stop-to-entry call. The members’ channel sell before it was closed after TP1. Together, those updates let readers see the management decisions as they happened, including the moment the trade gave back its early profit.
Before the next session, decide what you will do if price returns to your entries after a first target, where you will move your stop once the trade pays again, and whether you are comfortable letting the rest run at breakeven. Then follow how the next public setup is explained and managed on @GTMO, rather than chasing Friday’s levels. You can also review an earlier sell with a pullback in the October 20 gold report.
FAQ#
Where was gold trading when this report was prepared?#
OANDA XAUUSD’s latest forming daily candle was observed at $4,020.175 per troy ounce at 21:01 Vietnam time on October 23, 2026, down $4.335 (0.11%) on that candle. The market was open. This is an intraday observation, not a finalized close or an official gold fix.
What did the October 23 public signal look like?#
A sell at 4022.9–4027 with a 4031 stop and targets at 4021, 4019, 4017, 4015 and 4013, plus an open target. Mo posted it at 16:57 Vietnam time in the public channel and the members’ channel together.
Did the public sell reach more than TP1?#
Not in the public record. Mo reported TP1 at 17:23 and again at 17:53, then moved stops to entry. No TP2 or later target and no final close was posted publicly afterwards.
Why did Mo move the stop to entry at TP1?#
At 17:41 he said he would take some profits at TP1 at 4021 and turn the trade into zero risk, after price had already returned to the entries once. Moving the stop to entry protects the remaining positions against a full reversal; it does not guarantee a profit on them.
